Leapfrog Recruitment are looking for an experienced Night RVN to join a fantastic Veterinary Hospital near Cardiff, South Wales covering Maternity Leave starting from September 2024 for 1 year.

• 7 nights on, 7 nights off (average 42hrs per week)
• Fixed term 12 month contract, ideally September start
• £42,000 to £51,500 p/a depending on skills and experience

The hospital is a purpose built multi-disciplinary veterinary hospital which has an excellent team seeing referral and first opinion cases with dedicated ECC teams. Equipment includes 24/7 inpatient care, CT Scanner, Advanced Ultrasonography, Endosurgery facilities, Extensive blood analysis equipment- including TEG, blood gases etc, Dedicated ECC wards, Dedicated orthopaedic, soft tissue and exotic theatres, Dental suite, In-house Hydrotherapy service, In-house Physiotherapy service.

You must be an experienced RVN who has substantial clinical knowledge and skills, is able to work independently and be confident providing advanced nursing care to critical patients.

Minimum requirements: 

• RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse
• Eligible to work in the UK
