We have an exciting Head Veterinary Nurse job opportunity at a fantastic 100% small animal Veterinary practice situated in Hertford, Hertfordshire on a full time permanent basis.
- Full time, 40hrs per week or part time 30hrs per week
- 1 in 3 Saturdays
- No OOHs
Salary from £31,000 to £35,000 p/a dependent on experience and excellent benefits package (details below)
The surgery is spacious, purpose built and equipped with excellent facilities and equipment including separate cat and dog wards, isolation unit, ultrasound, digital x-ray, in-house laboratory, sterile theatre and more. They have an excellent clientele with a high number of insured pets and ensure patients get the time needed with 30 minute appointments for non routine cases and 15 mins for vaccines. With such a varied caseload they also have specialists visiting the practice for cardiac scans, ultrasound with sampling and orthopaedics.
As HVN here you would be joining a lovely team of 1 RVN, 2 VCA;s, a full time receptionist, Practice Manager and 2 Vets. You will be fully supported by the practice manager who is a clinical coach and has Certificates in the nursing of exotic species and animal behaviour and the Practice Partner who is an experienced vet and holds a Master in Clinical Oncology.

- RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse or Eligible to register in 2024
