Leapfrog Recruitment have a fantastic job opportunity at our clients brilliant multi disciplinary veterinary hospital situated in Colchester, Essex. We are looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join this fantastic veterinary hospital on a full or part time permanent basis.
- Full or part time
- Weekends on a shared rota basis
- No OOHs
You need to have a minimum of 3 years small animal nursing experience and be a confident, motivated and forward thinking RVN who wants to work within a modern hospital with a multi disciplinary team and caseload. Here you’d be joining a team of 21 RVNs and SVN’s and 18 Vets with various post graduate certificates and advanced certificates in orthopaedic surgery and medicine.
Here you would be seeing a diverse caseload with a large client base and have plenty of exposure to routine cases as well as advanced 2nd opinion and emergency work. You are able to specialise/ focus on areas of interest with varied shift types across the different departments of the hospital.
A brand new hospital which is equipped with fantastic equipment including CT, endoscopy, ICU unit and high specification patient wards.
The salary guide for this position is £30,000 to £35,000 p/a dependent on your level of experience and benefits package which includes:

- Enhanced annual leave of 28 days including bank holidays rising to 33 days including bank holidays after 2 years’ service.
