Leapfrog Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a practice situated in Morpeth, Northumberland who are looking for a Exotics Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a full time permanent basis.

• Full time, 4 day week
• No OOHs or bank holidays
• Varied caseload including first and second opinion exotics, zoo stock, alpaca herds, raptors, falcon breeding projects and wildlife

The surgery is a purpose-built hospital in rural Northumberland which is fully equipped with appropriate diagnostic, surgical and hospitalisation facilities including, Digital XR, flexible and rigid videoscope and access to CT. The position is best suited to a certificate holder or someone working towards a certificate. The successful candidate will join the exotics team but have ample access to the skill set of surgeons and cardiologists, etc. as required.

Here you would be working alongside a fantastic team of 27 Vets (full and part time), 41 nurses (including RVN’s, trainees and auxiliaries) and 32 support staff.

Salary is competitive up to £65,000 per annum depending on experience  & excellent benefits package.

Minimum requirements:

• DVM, BVM&S, BVMA, BVetMed or equivalent degree – RCVS Registered or eligible to register
• Eligible to work in the UK
