We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic Registered Vet Nurse (RVN) to lead our clients nursing team at their Small Animal Veterinary Practice in Reading. The position is available on a full time, permanent basis and offers a competitive salary up to £30,000, dependent on experience.

Working rota: 

• Full time, 40hrs per week over 5 days
• 1 in 3 weekends
• No OOH

About the role:

You would be joining a friendly team of 2 vets, 2 Registered Veterinary Nurses and 2 Animal Nursing Assistants, and supported by superbly efficient receptionists. Your general day-to-day nursing duties will include theatre work, medical nursing, nurse clinics and helping with reception when needed.

You will work closely with the Head Vet and Practice Principal to ensure the practice core values are met. You’ll take pride in delivering exceptional clinical quality and care and encourage a progressive clinical culture whilst ensuring practice policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to by all of your team. Additional responsibilities such as student nurse training will be supported if this is of interest.

You must be an RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse, who is passionate and confident. You should be dedicated to providing stellar service to clients and their pets.
